COMPASSION WORKSHOP

COMPASSION WORKSHOP

What is Compassion?

How do we apply it to our lives today?

The cultivation of compassion is at the heart of our inward journey in yin yoga. Practicing how to cultivate compassion can seem elusive let alone trying to explain how to do this in our teachings. Science has shown that a truly compassionate view improves our mindset and overall mood which has a direct effect on the health of our heart. Wouldn't we all want others to be free from suffering and to help others be free?

This workshop will offer helpful practices with explanatory slides on the practice and sequence to guide you in cultivating deeper compassion to help forge the way to a happier contentment, stability and connectivity with ourselves and most importantly with others too.

"Thank you Sarah,
For an amazing, powerful workshop.
I felt really relaxed and so grateful to be guided by your voice.
I just realised it's so crucial to fill in our own cups before attending to others. And you held the space  for that today. Reminding us compassion isn't just an emotion but so much more."

It takes a huge amount of courage to take a closer look at the dissatisfaction of our lives and it's not possible to just use the word compassion as an antidote to our difficulties or to just turn it on or off.

Understanding Compassion can help to provide the motivation and inspiration to remember to include compassion in our daily practice and to feel the difference this makes to our day.
