The law relating to data protection is changing on 25th May 2018 when the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) comes into force.

We would like you to be informed about how we collect and handle your personal data. This includes your name, email address or social media identifiers, phone numbers. In other words, it covers any and all information about you that is capable of identifying you.

Under the GDPR we are ‘data controllers’ of your information. We are called ‘controllers’ because we make decisions about how your data is used – for example to prepare marketing materials – and we also ‘process’ your data when we carry out basic activities like storing, deleting and changing the information that we hold. We take our obligation to protect the information you give us very seriously, and we always take care when using and processing it.

We collect data from you via two means, one is via the sign up to our newsletter via my website www.SarahLo.co.uk and the other is if you sign up through writing your name and e-mail address at workshops. In both instances, you opt-in to receive this information.

This information is stored on our mail chimp account for which we use to send you information about our trainings and workshops via a newsletter. It is not given to anyone else.

Our mail chimp account only stores your name and e-mail address it does not store your telephone number or any other information about you.

You have the right to opt out at any point using the unsubscribe button at the bottom of all newsletters and you also have the right to do this at any time. If you unsubscribe your information will be deleted from the mail chimp account but if you would like to be deleted by other means then please contact us at Sarah@SarahLo.co.uk
